Old town walk

Popular with guests visiting Salzburg for the first time. Experience a leisurely stroll through the old town. We visit the beautiful Mirabell Gardens, Makartplatz, Getreidegasse, Salzburg Cathedral, Residenzplatz, St. Peter's Abbey and other sights. For culturally interested guests, a visit to the most important museums (Domquartier, Salzburg- and Panoramamuseum) is also an option - for this we need an additional 1.5 hours. (Museum tickets are not included in the price).

Wheel tour with e-bikes

Would you like to discover Salzburg on a relaxed e-bike ride? Experience Salzburg like "the right Salzburg". Along the Salzach via Hellbrunner Allee to the Hellbrunn and Leopldskron castles with their magnificent gardens. You have the opportunity to get to know the city from a different perspective and at the same time do something for your body. This turns these hours into an unforgettable holiday experience (rental bikes are not included in the price).

Hohensalzburg Fortress

From the old town we take the funicular up to the fortress. The unique and breathtaking panoramic view of the city and its surroundings will remain an unforgettable experience - an Eldorado for photographers! On request, we can also visit the spectacular fortress museum. We then take a leisurely stroll down the Mönchsberg to the old town (museum tickets are not included in the price).

In the footsteps of the archbishops

Throughout the centuries it was the archbishops of Salzburg who shaped this city. The churches, the architecture, the magnificent grounds of Hellbrunn, Leopoldskron or the Mirabell Gardens - they are all much admired monuments of our city. Interesting stories and anecdotes about the archbishops of Salzburg will leave a deeper impression. I am happy to offer visits to museums on request (museum tickets are not included in the price).

MOZART - On the trail of a genius

No other name is as inseparable from this city as that of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. His creative work has made Salzburg a very special jewel over the centuries. Both Mozart's birthplace and Mozart's house can be visited. It is also worth visiting the St. Sebastian cemetery where some of his closest relatives are buried.

The city mountains: Mönchsberg and Kapuzienerberg

In addition to the many sights of Salzburg, the two city mountains, the Mönchsberg and the Kapuzinerberg, are a popular destination for young and old. As the name suggests, there are various monasteries on the mountains. The extensive protective walls provided protection against attackers during the medieval war. A refreshing hike on the Mönchsberg can also be ideally combined with a visit to the Museum der Moderne (museum tickets are not included in the price).

"Silent Night" tour

In 1818 the most famous song in the world was sung for the first time by the composer, the pastor Josef Mohr and the village teacher Franz Xaver Gruber, in the St. Nikolaus church in Oberndorf. There we can visit the Memorial Chapel and the Silent Night Museum. A visit to Franz Xaver Gruber's later residence in Hallein, where he lived as a choir regent / organist, is also possible (approx. 1.5 hours additional - museum tickets are not included in the price).

Untersberg

A popular destination is the trip to Salzburg's local mountain - the nearby Untersberg. With its 1,973 meters of altitude, the Untersberg offers a wonderful panorama of the Alps and the Bavarian region. We take the Untersberg cable car from the valley station in Grödig in a few minutes up to the Geiereck mountain station at 1.7776m. Then we stop at the inn there.

Bake apple strudel and sightseeing

Bake yourself plus lunch & dinner. The participants make groups of 3-5 people together an apple strudel and while it is baking in the oven a hearty goulash soup is served as lunch / dinner (optional vegetarian food). Then the homemade apple strudel is served as a dessert. The program is ideal as a lunch / dinner option during your visit to Salzburg.

Salzburg - Walk of Modern Art

The city of Salzburg is not only historically interesting - follow me and discover objects from the Salzburg Foundation (a private association founded in 2001 with the aim of making modern art public and not just in the museum). Together we discover sculptures by national and international artists. You will learn a lot about “the history” of these objects and will look at them differently after our tour!
